Ria-I really liked the echos you used, especially with the background music. The constant noise the whole length was kinda cool but maybe having a bit more surprise with sounds would be interesting.

Vance- I liked how it got louder and louder adding suspense as well as the quick repetitive sounds. I think the ending either could've faded out longer or stopped more abruptly.

Allie- I enjoyed that we could hear a person going through what seems to be their morning. I wish there were a little bit more weird noises that don't necessarily come up in a daily routine to keep attention.

Zack- I liked the very obvious monster noises. I think adding a few deeper sounds would make it sound scarier.

Connor- The sounds of the baby and dog together reminded me of a home. I didn't really get a park theme, I envisioned a lower-class apartment building.

Leah- I liked the repetitive drumming noises during what seems like someone going to the bathroom. The transition from ping pong ball to the door seemed odd.

Sydney-The robotic crescendo was cool. My ears sort of hurt after the really loud sound though.

Ben- I liked the rhythm of the noises. A lot of it almost sounded too much like real music, which we were sort of avoiding with this project.

For this project, I thought it would be great to incorporate a scary theme with a prominent historical event. With Halloween drawing near, the spooky and almost threatening sounds paired with a prestigious speech seemed fitting. I have always had a fondness for the civil war, and I felt it appropriate given the current state of our country, It seems almost as if we will enter another civil war. And while slavery is abolished, systemic racism still controls people of color's lives. The Gettysburg Address was made at a very raw time in American history, with the country separated and the tide of the war favoring the Union. Lincoln aimed to give the American people hope for a better country. Hope is just what our current country could use now. Yet in keeping with the scary theme, the sounds are supposed to grow more intense until the speaker meets a certain demise, mirroring Lincoln's assassination.
